Here at Alpha Tau Omega, we are truly a lifelong brotherhood. ATO was founded after the Civil War, when men from the North and South discarded their prejudices and joined together to begin a fraternity “to know no north, no south, no east, no west, but to know man as man.”  Similar to our founders, we are one of the most diverse fraternities at USC. Brothers come from various states across the nation, as well as several other countries. Some of our brotherhood events include Paintballing, camping trips, surfing trips, the Weekender, and much more.

ATO is nationally known as the leadership fraternity. As one of our main principles, we offer our members plenty of leadership experience so that they become better men throughout college, and in their careers. In 1986, Alpha Tau Omega began LeaderShape, a nationally recognized premier leadership program. Since it’s inaugural year, LeaderShape has taught over 20,000 college students how to be a true leader.
